Recipe 10 – Quick and simple 4 ingredient meatloaf
"Hubbes" Färslåda

Today it’s cooking time for lazy people again. I have no clue who “Hubbe” was, but he sure knew how to cook a delicious meatloaf dish with very simple means. I laughed a bit when seeing the ingredient onion soup powder in the recipe, but I quickly figured out that it’s brilliant when you’re short on time. No need to chop onions and deal with twenty different spices – the flavor is already there in the mix.
If you’re vegetarian you can most probably cook this with quorn or some other minced meat substitute instead.
This meatloaf has a quite soft texture. If you want a bit heavier texture, add some breadcrumbs to the mix.
Meatloaf with 4 ingredients
Cooking time including preparation: 30-35 minutes
Portions: 4
Ingredients:
- 400 g of ground meat (mix of pork and beef)
- 3 dl sourcream
- 2 eggs
- 1 bag of onion soup powder
- (Butter for the form if needed)
Preparation:
Turn your oven on at 200°C.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Put it in a buttered bread tin or fireproof ceramic dish or use a non-stick dish. Bake the meatloaf in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
Serve with riced potatoes and a side salad, like the original recipe suggests, or boiled potatoes and a sauce like I did.
